When a Stranger Read Hannah's Heart Awakens: The Review That Made It Real ❤️📖

Someone I have never met read Hannah's Heart Awakens.

I know that may sound like a small thing.

But to me, it wasn't.

Since Hannah's Heart Awakens was released, I have been grateful for every person who has supported me, encouraged me, purchased the book, and celebrated this moment with me.

My family has been there too. They know me. They know how much Hannah means to me.

But then something happened that felt different.

A stranger read my book.

On August 3, I saw a five-star review from a reader named Simeon. I don't know Simeon. We have never met. There was no personal connection between us.

This reader simply picked up Hannah's Heart Awakens, read the story, and shared an honest response.

And as I read the review, one part stopped me.

"encourages children to discover faith in a way that feels personal, meaningful, and full of hope."

I read those words and thought:

They understood it.

Not just the story. The heart behind it.

That meant more to me than I expected. Of course, I smiled at the five stars. Who wouldn't? ❤️

But it wasn't really about the stars. It was knowing that someone who didn't know me could open this book and see what I hoped was there all along.

The love of Jesus. The importance of faith. The gentle reminder that children can know Him personally.

From My Heart to Someone Else's

For so long, Hannah belonged to me. She was a childhood memory. Then an idea. Then words on a page. Then a manuscript. And eventually, she became a book I could hold in my hands.

But now?

She is becoming someone else's story too.

People I may never meet can sit down with Hannah, follow her summer with Aunt Grace, and experience what happens as her heart begins to awaken to the love of Jesus.

There is something beautiful — and a little emotional — about that.

Letting the Book Go

As an author, I can write the words. I can pray over them. I can release the book. But after that, I have to let it go.

I have to trust God with where it lands and whose heart it reaches.

This review reminded me of that.

Someone I have never met read Hannah. And they understood her.

Maybe that is what makes this moment feel so real. Hannah's Heart Awakens is no longer just the book I dreamed about writing.

She's out there now.

And my prayer remains simple:

May every child who finds Hannah somehow find a little more of Jesus too. One story. One prayer. One heart at a time.
